About the Game:

Welcome to "Tickle Assassin: The Laughing Finale"! As an experienced assassin on the brink of retirement, your final mission is unlike any other. In a bustling supermarket, your task is to tickle your targets to laughter using the right item, but beware of the patrolling guards! With each successful tickle, the laughter explodes, earning you points and extra time. How many targets can you tickle before getting spotted?

• Detailed Environments: Explore a self-designed mall with 1 tilemap and 3 interior/object tilemaps.

• Intricate AI: Outsmart our enemy AI with your stealth skill and strategy.

• Player Skills and Items:  Utilize a hiding skill and items to complete your mission.

• Engaging Soundtrack: Immerse yourself in the super fun soundtrack by Clayton Kaufmann.

• Original Artwork: Every element, from characters to UI, is self-drawn for a unique visual experience.

Development Journey:

Our team, comprising Members David Kupert, Igor van Duifhuizen, and me dekisenpaitm, dedicated 28 hours to create this laughter-filled adventure for GGJ24, themed "Make Me Laugh". Although we didn't finish in time, we prioritized quality and polish over rushing to meet the deadline.

How to Play:

1. Select Your Target: Identify the target in the supermarket by using the UI.
2. Find the Right Item: Locate the specific item needed to tickle your target.
3. Tickle to Success: Approach and tickle your target without getting caught.
4. Score Points: Successful tickles earn points and add time to your timer.
5. Stay Stealthy: Avoid detection by patrolling guards to continue your mission.
